The napkins are no longer to be folded in quarters, but simply in half in future. But where is the sticky memo note on which this was written?
Clear processing instructions can be entered on each individual planning board.
This might comprise a written message, but also a photo or graphics!
As soon as such an instruction is entered, it is immediately displayed on the planning boards in question.
As an additional benefit, this merges one to one with requirements such as those for ISO certification: “vouching for compliance with customer agreements”
The fact that a laundry can now enter instructions in the system, implies that it is no longer dependent on the knowledge possessed by particular employees.
The process can therefore continue without any difficulty if the employee in question falls ill or is absent.
This not only avoids incorrect processing, but also the following problems:
- Quantities not recorded
- Incorrect quantities recorded
